Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking an entry-level Remote Monitoring Technician to oversee the global fleet from our India command center in Mumbai. You will monitor performance, respond to alerts, and assist field engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting.

The role requires a Polytechnic diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Energy Systems or Electrical, with 0–2 years of related experience. You will work 8-hour shifts, day or night, and collaborate across teams to maintain safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma level education with fundamentals in relevant engineering subjects.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of fuels (methane, propane) and high-temperature processes.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, piping, valves and related operations.
• Proficiency in common software tools (Windows OS, MS Office).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Remote monitoring and control of the global Fuel Cell Plant fleet.
• Work in 8-hour shifts (day or night) from India-based center.
• Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Escalate failures following established procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Position Summary

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India

Essential Functions

Remote Monitoring and Control of the Fuel Cell Plants.

Work in 8-hour shifts - either during the day or night.

Communicate & Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting etc and Product Quality testing team.

Escalate failures per established procedure.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation
• Experience in basic Software such as Windows OS, MS-Office
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment is preferred in case of experienced candidate
