Job summary

Bloom Energy in Mumbai is seeking a remote monitoring specialist to oversee the global fleet of fuel cell plants from our India center. The role requires handling 8-hour shifts (day or night) and coordinating with field service engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have a Polytechnic diploma and basic understanding of fuels and high-temperature equipment, plus good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders with solid fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of fuels (methane, propane) and high-temperature applications.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, valves and operation.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS Office is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India

Essential Functions:

• Remote Monitoring and Control of the Fuel Cell Plants
• Work in 8-hour shifts - either during the day or night
• Communicate & Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting etc and Product Quality testing team
• Escalate failures per established procedure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation
• Experience in basic Software such as Windows OS, MS-Office
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred:

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment is preferred in case of experienced candidate

Education:

Polytechnic diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Energy Systems Engineering/ Electrical

Experience:

0 - 2 years related experience in the above mentioned field
