Job summary

Kyndryl in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Control-M Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Control-M environments across distributed and mainframe platforms. You will optimize batch workloads, monitor agents, and ensure SLA compliance, using Control-M GUI and Automation API for automation.

You will troubleshoot failures, perform upgrades, manage clusters, and collaborate with IT teams via ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on Control-M administration across dev and prod environments.
• Strong knowledge of Control-M Agent, EM, and Server installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience monitoring and analyzing Control-M Agents and troubleshooting agent/server issues via log analysis.
• Proficiency in adding/removing agents, managing clusters, and maintaining cluster configurations in the Control-M console.
• Experience upgrading agents and servers, including migrations and patch management.
• Familiarity with DR procedures related to Control-M environments and basic shell scripting.

Role Overview

As an experienced Control-M Administrator, you will be responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of Control-M environments across distributed and mainframe platforms. You will have strong expertise in scheduling, monitoring, and managing enterprise batch workloads using BMC Control-M. You will be skilled in job scheduling, workflow automation, troubleshooting job failures, performance tuning, and ensuring SLA adherence.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include installation, configuration, and maintenance of Control-M environments, monitoring and analyzing Control-M Agents, troubleshooting agent/server-related issues, and performing agent and server upgrades.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 Years of hands-on experience in Control-M Administration across Development and Production environments
• Strong knowledge of Control-M Agent, Control-M/EM, and Control-M Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing Control-M Agents and troubleshooting agent/server-related issues through log analysis
• Proficiency in adding/removing agents, managing clusters, and maintaining cluster configurations in the Control-M console
• Experience in performing agent and server upgrades, including version migrations and patch management
• Hands-on experience installing and configuring Control-M GUI and Windows-based Control-M Agents
• Good knowledge of Control-M batch job scheduling, job monitoring, and SLA management
• Experience in managing job failures, sysout/log retention policies, and service start/stop activities for Agents, EM, and Server components
• Familiarity with Change and Incident Management processes using tools like ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Control-M Automation API and Application Integrator
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
• Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) procedures related to Control-M environments
