Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose adult patients with medical conditions.
• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform clinical examinations.
• Develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
• Review laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic reports.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify plans when required.
• Prescribe medications and other appropriate therapies.
• Provide consultations for admitted, outpatient, and referred patients.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely stabilization.
• Coordinate with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Conduct clinical rounds and review patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Support admission, transfer, referral, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate investigations and procedures with relevant departments.
• Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital clinical protocols.
• Guide junior doctors and clinical staff as appropriate.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential handling of patient information.
• Support continuous improvement in medical care and clinical services.
