A Consultant - Interventional Radiology is responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions using image-guided minimally invasive procedures. The performs vascular and non-vascular interventions, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety.

• Evaluate patients requiring interventional radiology procedures.
• Conduct outpatient, inpatient, and emergency consultations.
• Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions.
• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and angiography findings.
• Perform angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, drainages, stent placements, vascular access procedures, and other minimally invasive interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, neurologists, cardiologists, and critical care teams.
• Counsel patients and families regarding procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and imaging records.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations, hospital policies, and clinical guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education.
