Job Description

The Non-Invasive Cardiology specialist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing cardiovascular conditions using non-invasive diagnostic techniques and providing comprehensive cardiac care without surgical intervention.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular consultations and clinical assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions.
  • Perform and interpret ECG, Echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and other non-invasive investigations as qualified.
  • Review stress-test and cardiac imaging results.
  • Assess cardiovascular risk factors and develop preventive-care plans.
  • Prescribe and monitor appropriate cardiac medications.
  • Manage patients with hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and other cardiac conditions.
  • Identify patients requiring invasive procedures or surgical intervention and provide appropriate referrals.
  • Monitor hospitalized cardiac patients and follow their clinical progress.
  • Counsel patients regarding lifestyle modification, diet, exercise, and risk-factor management.
  • Coordinate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other specialists.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and diagnostic reports.
  • Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide appropriate stabilization.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical protocols.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality-improvement programs.
  • Support cardiac-screening and preventive-health initiatives.
  • Participate in teaching and continuing medical education.
  • Stay updated with advances in cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Cardiology Department Head.
