Job summary

Medoralink in Bengaluru is seeking a qualified General Medicine physician to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care. You will diagnose, treat, and coordinate multidisciplinary care for a broad range of medical conditions, while maintaining detailed EMR-based records and contributing to audits and CME activities.

The role requires MD/DNB in Medicine, strong clinical experience, and the ability to manage acute emergencies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DNB in Medicine with NMC registration mandatory.
• Proven outpatient/inpatient general medicine experience.
• Strong diagnostic acumen for internal medicine conditions.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and digital documentation.
• Knowledge of NMC guidelines and national treatment protocols (e.g., NCD, ICMR).
• Ability to manage acute medical emergencies and stabilize patients.
• Communication skills for patient counseling and interdepartmental coordination.
• Preferred: experience in multi-specialty hospital setups.
• Basic procedural skills (IV access, pleural tap, lumbar puncture).
• Teaching or mentoring residents/fellows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general medicine consultations across acute, subacute, and chronic conditions.
• Diagnose and manage common and complex internal medicine cases including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, GI disorders, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Collaborate with specialists for timely referrals, coordinate multidisciplinary care plans, and ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies as per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records using digital EMR systems and hospital protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME events within the facility.
