Job summary

MAIA Estates in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Site Head to lead civil and finishes construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role oversees site teams, liaises with clients and subcontractors, and maintains high standards of quality and safety.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in leadership roles, two high-end villa projects in India, and expertise in aluminum shuttering systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience completing 2 high-end Villa projects in India.
  • Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience as a Site Manager or similar role.
  • Proven experience in civil construction with expertise in aluminum shuttering systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and effective resource coordination.
  • Technical Leadership: Supervise civil and finishing works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to meet quality standards; conduct inspections and promptly resolve site issues.
  • Health & Safety: Implement and enforce safety policies to create a safe working environment; conduct safety audits and coordinate safety training.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and construction workers.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services, maintaining quality standards and resolving supply issues promptly.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage site budgets, control costs, and minimize waste.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, site documentation, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all activities comply with legal, environmental, and corporate standards; maintain comprehensive project documentation.

YOUR IMPACT

To provide overall leadership, management, and coordination of civil and finishes construction activities at the site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, as per prescribed quality and within budget. The Site Head will be responsible for supervising site teams, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
