Job summary

MAIA Estates is seeking a proactive Procurement Assistant Manager to oversee procurement for multiple projects and corporate requirements in Bengaluru. The role focuses on vendor selection, sourcing, and negotiations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, collaborate with Projects, Design, Finance, and Contracts teams, and maintain procurement documentation and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement/contracts, preferably in Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Experience in handling project procurement and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, services, and project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
• Float enquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Support negotiations related to pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and contracts.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Projects, Design, Finance, and Contracts teams for procurement planning and execution.
• Track procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, rate contracts, and documentation records.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and alternate sourcing opportunities.
• Assist in resolving vendor-related issues, supply delays, and commercial discrepancies
