Job summary

Zyeta is seeking a technically strong Construction Manager – MEP to lead and supervise MEP works for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role requires hands-on site experience, strong technical knowledge, and effective coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and with quality.

The ideal candidate will coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ELV, and BMS systems, review drawings, and manage daily reports and handover activities.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in MEP execution for commercial interior fit-out or workplace projects.
• Hands-on project site experience with ability to read MEP drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise complete execution of MEP works at project sites.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, project schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitor HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, Plumbing, and BMS installations.
• Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Plan manpower, material requirements, and equipment deployment.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of MEP materials.
• Verify measurements and contractor bills.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag closure, and project handover.
• Maintain project documentation, RFIs, inspection records, and as-built drawings.

• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, and billing.
• Understanding of IS Codes, NBC, and relevant MEP standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera) is an added advantage.
