Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Construction Manager - Electrical to lead industrial construction projects across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers. You will manage budgets, schedules, and safety programs, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years in construction with at least 5 years in industrial settings, a relevant degree, OSHA 30, and ideally PMP/ CCM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction experience with at least 5 years in industrial projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $10M+ preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• PMP, CCM, or similar project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: plan, schedule, and budget for industrial facilities; coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Team Leadership: lead superintendents, foremen, and field personnel; conduct regular project meetings and mentor staff.
• Quality and Safety Management: enforce OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Financial Management: monitor budgets, approve invoices, prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Client Relations: act as primary contact for clients and provide regular updates.

Lead cross-functional teams while maintaining safety compliance and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for industrial facilities including manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and processing facilities. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery. Monitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions when needed.Team Leadership Lead project teams including superintendents, foremen, and field personnel. Conduct regular project meetings, provide clear direction, and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders. Mentor junior staff and promote professional development within the team.Quality and Safety Management Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards on all job sites. Previous experience managing projects valued at $10M+ preferred.Technical Skills Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment specific to industrial applications. Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.Certifications and Licenses Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites. OSHA 30-hour certification required. PMP, CCM, or similar project management certification preferred. First Aid/CPR certification a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience with design-build and fast-track project delivery methods. Knowledge of LEED and sustainable construction practices. Previous experience with industrial clients in manufacturing, logistics, or energy sectors. Strong negotiation skills and contract administration experience.Working ConditionsPosition requires frequent travel to construction sites and client facilities. Must be comfortable working in industrial environments including manufacturing plants and outdoor construction sites.
