Role Description

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at SraAI is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing routine checks to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards. The role involves measuring and inspecting finished parts, documenting results, and collaborating with supervisors and engineers to resolve machining issues and improve processes. The CNC Machinist will also maintain a clean, organized work area and support preventive maintenance activities for machinery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, including safe setup, operation, and basic maintenance of CNC equipment ( Turning)
• Candidates should possess practical Machining skills ( Turning) , with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use appropriate tools and cutting parameters.
• Candidates should possess solid Quality Control skills, including measurement, inspection, and documentation to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Relevant skills such as understanding of aerospace or automotive manufacturing standards, familiarity with CNC programming basics, and experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) are beneficial.
• Additional qualifications such as a technical diploma or certification in machining or mechanical engineering, adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a production environment are preferred.
