Job summary

Versigent is seeking a CAD Engineer to design wiring harnesses and create detailed engineering drawings using CATIA, AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will manage design changes across the product lifecycle, release drawings per standards, and collaborate in concept, prototyping, testing, and validation, using PLM to control data and revisions.

The role requires strong CAD skills and experience with change management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Design wiring harnesses using CATIA, AutoCAD and SolidWorks and generate detailed drawings.
• Manage design changes across the product lifecycle and ensure change control adherence.
• Release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts per internal standards and regs.
• Participate in concept design, prototyping, testing and validation activities.
• Use PLM to manage product data, documentation and revisions throughout life cycles.

Major Accountabilities:

• Utilize CAD tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to create detailed wiring harness designs.Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to change control processes and procedures.Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts in accordance with internal standards and industry regulations.Participate in all phases of product development, including concept design, prototyping, testing, and validation.Utilize PLM software to manage product data, documentation, and revisions throughout the product life cycles.
