Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an automotive wiring harness design engineer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in wiring harness design and packaging for electrical/electronic components. Proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3DX (Electrical Harness Design, Part Modelling & Surface design) is required to develop efficient wiring layouts and harness drawings.

The role involves collaboration with the EESE team and knowledge of vehicle architecture to define optimal locations and attachment schemes.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years hands on experience in automotive wiring harness design & packaging of electrical/electronic components.
• Excellent CATIA V5 & 3DX experience (Electrical Harness Design, Part Modelling & Surface design).
• Good experience in wiring harness design, wiring optimization studies and drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EESE team to develop engineered solutions.
• Knowledge of Vehicle Architecture, Vehicle Aggregate Groups, Sub-Groups, Systems and Sub-Systems.
• Capable to independently design attachment schemes or brackets (Plastic/Sheetmetal) as added advantage.

• 4 to 6 years hands on experience working in automotive wiring harness design & packaging of electrical/electronic components.
• Extensive working experience in CATIA V5 & 3DX (Electrical Harness Design, Part Modelling & Surface design).

• 4 to 6 years hands on experience working in automotive wiring harness design & packaging of electrical/electronic components.
• Extensive working experience in CATIA V5 & 3DX (Electrical Harness Design, Part Modelling & Surface design).

• Good experience in Wiring harness design, wiring optimization studies and drawing creation.
• Prior experience in performing benchmarking studies & packaging studies on electrical/electronic modules/systems and defining their locations in vehicle.
• Capable to independently design attachment scheme or design brackets (Plastic/Sheetmetal brackets) is an added advantage.
• Collaborate closely with the Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineering (EESE) team to support requests and develop engineered solutions.
• Knowledge in Vehicle Architecture, Vehicle Aggregate Groups, Sub- Groups, Systems and Sub- Systems.
• Strong communication skill is mandatory to handle Program Stake Holders & Suppliers.
• Good Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering & Vismockup.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
• Highly committed and motivated. Should be a self-starter.
