Job summary

BNB Engineers in Gurugram is seeking an experienced HR & Compliance Officer to own statutory labour compliance and HR operations end-to-end across all sites. You will ensure wage, PF, ESI, and BOCW documentation is client-ready and drive HR processes organization-wide.

The role covers PF/ESI/BOCW management, wage sheet accuracy, licensing, insurance coordination, and end-to-end recruitment, with a focus on accurate documentation and seamless site staffing.

Qualifications

• Graduate in HR, Labour Law, or Social Work preferred
• Experience in HR & statutory compliance within Construction Industry preferred
• Working knowledge of PF, ESI, BOCW, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, and Payment of Wages Act
• Experience preparing wage sheets, muster rolls, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Register and maintain PF/ESI/BOCW compliance for all site labour; day-1 enrolment and monthly filings.
• Maintain muster rolls and wage sheets; ensure wage payments comply with Minimum Wages and Payment of Wages Acts.
• Acquire and renew CLRA licenses, labour dept registrations, and statutory approvals; maintain site-wise tracker.
• Coordinate workmen compensation and other statutory insurance policies; ensure active coverage.
• End-to-end recruitment for office and site staff, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave data; support annual appraisal and HR policy adherence.
• Prepare compliance documentation packs for client billing and labour inspections; represent during audits.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and process-driven HR & Compliance Officer to join our team in Gurugram. This position is suited to candidates who understand how a multi-site construction contracting business runs and want to own statutory labour compliance and HR operations end-to-end. The HR & Compliance Officer will ensure every site's wage, PF, ESI, and BOCW documentation is client-ready, and drive HR processes across the organization.

Key Responsibility:

• Statutory Compliance (PF/ESI/BOCW): Register and maintain PF, ESI, and BOCW compliance for all site labour. Ensure day-1 enrolment of new workers, monthly ECR/challan filing, and BOCW cess payment and registration renewals across all active sites.
• Wage Sheet & Muster Roll Management: Maintain accurate muster rolls and wage sheets for every site. Ensure wage payments comply with the Minimum Wages Act and Payment of Wages Act, and keep payment proof ready for client billing.
• Licensing & Documentation: Acquire and renew CLRA licenses, labour department registrations, and other statutory approvals required to operate on client sites. Maintain a site-wise tracker for all licenses and renewals.
• Insurance & Policy Coordination: Coordinate workmen compensation and other statutory insurance policies for site labour and staff, ensuring coverage stays active and renewed on time.
• Hiring & Interviews: Manage end-to-end recruitment for office and site staff — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• HR Operations: Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave data; support the annual appraisal and increment process; handle employee grievances and HR policy adherence.
• Client Compliance & Audit Support: Prepare compliance documentation packs for client billing and labour inspections; represent the company during client compliance audits and Labour Department inspections.

Requirements:

• Graduate; HR, Labour Law, or Social Work background preferred
• Experience in HR & statutory compliance within Construction Industry preferred
• Working knowledge of PF, ESI, BOCW, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, and Payment of Wages Act
• Experience preparing wage sheets, muster rolls, and compliance documentation.

Skills:

• Process-driven and detail-oriented, comfortable owning documentation across multiple sites
• Confident liaising with Labour Department, EPFO, and ESIC offices
• Proficient in MS Excel
