Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (B.Tech/B.E.).

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Associate to manage domestic and international product certification, regulatory compliance, certification documentation, and conformity assessment activities.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Compliance Associate with a strong understanding of domestic and international product certification, regulatory compliance, and conformity assessment procedures.

The role involves managing compliance requirements, reviewing certification processes, coordinating with regulatory authorities and certification bodies, and ensuring that projects meet applicable national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate domestic and international product certification and regulatory compliance activities.
• Review applicable certification requirements, technical regulations, and conformity assessment procedures for different products and international markets.
• Handle certification-related activities involving SASO, SABER, BIS, ISI, CE Marking, ISO, and other applicable certification schemes.
• Review technical documentation, product specifications, test reports, and certification applications to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with certification bodies, testing laboratories, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders to facilitate certification processes.
• Work closely with Operations Coordinators, Operations Associates, and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
• Identify applicable regulatory requirements based on product categories, destination countries, and relevant certification standards.
• Manage certification applications, documentation verification, regulatory submissions, and compliance-related follow-ups.
• Address technical and regulatory queries raised by certification bodies, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify compliance gaps, documentation discrepancies, and potential regulatory challenges, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor ongoing certification projects, track approval status, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and project deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in domestic and international regulations, certification procedures, and industry-specific compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the product certification, testing, inspection, or regulatory compliance industry.
• Practical experience in handling domestic or international certification applications and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant certification schemes and regulatory requirements.
