• Vision Mechatronics, founded in 2009, is an Indian technology company specializing in robotics, renewable energy, and lithium-ion energy storage solutions. The company offers a range of lithium-ion backed energy storage units suitable for residential, industrial, commercial applications, and electric vehicles. Their products include the "World's Smartest Lithium Battery" and systems with active balancing technology.
  
• Dr. Rashi Gupta, affectionately known as the "Batterywali of India," is the Founder and Managing Director of Vision Mechatronics. She holds degrees in BE, MBA, LLM, and a Ph.D., and has been instrumental in pioneering advanced lithium battery manufacturing in India. Under her leadership, the company has introduced innovative products like the "World's Smartest Lithium Battery" and has been recognized for contributions to renewable energy and energy storage sectors. Dr. Gupta is also actively involved in various national and international committees related to batteries, energy storage, and e-mobility, and is a strong advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment in the STEM fields.
  

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Communications Specialist to join our pioneering and innovative organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing effective communication strategies that promote our initiatives, vision, and our strong gender-focused values, drive engagement, and strengthen our brand’s presence in the market. This position requires someone with a deep interest in sustainable energy, innovation and should have excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and engaging way with authenticity, inclusivity, and humility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to create and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with the company’s renewable energy goals and vision.
  
• Content Creation: Develop high-quality written and visual content for various communication channels, including press releases, website articles, newsletters, social media posts, blogs, and reports.
  
• Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to ensure coverage of key initiatives and company milestones in the renewable energy sector.
  
• Social Media Management: Oversee and manage the company’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and the general public.
  
• Internal Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the organization, including the development of internal newsletters, briefings, and corporate announcements to keep employees informed and engaged.
  
• Branding & Messaging: Work closely with the marketing and branding teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and materials. Promote the company’s values and commitment to sustainability and renewable energy.
  
• Public Relations: Support the preparation and delivery of speeches, presentations, and keynotes for company executives and spokespeople at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders such as investors, government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, ensuring clear and transparent communication on renewable energy projects and initiatives.
  
• Crisis Communication: Provide timely and strategic support in the event of a crisis, ensuring that communications are aligned with the company’s values and minimizing any reputational risks.
  
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, reporting on key metrics and suggesting improvements.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  
• 3-5 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably within the energy, sustainability, or environmental sectors.
  
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry and sustainability issues.
  
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
  
• Experience with social media management, including analytics and engagement strategies.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  
• Knowledge of communication tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, media monitoring software, and content management systems.
  
• Experience in crisis communication and managing external communications in sensitive situations is a plus.
  
• Proactive, creative, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
