Job summary

Meta in India seeks a Communications Manager to shape and tell our story in one of our most strategic markets. The role sits at the intersection of business, policy, and product communications and reports to the Director of India communications.

You will develop and execute the India communications strategy, adapt global narratives for local media, build relationships with tech and policy media, and lead product and policy updates.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in communications across technology, policy, and business, with deep expertise in leading strategies independently.
• Proven track record of building and running communications programs end to end.
• Strong media relationships and experience in working with journalists across business, technology, or policy.
• Experience advising senior leaders and managing complex or sensitive issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong judgement under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize competing workstreams based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a dynamic environment.

You'll build communications programs that drive business impact and translate complex technology topics for diverse audiences, partnering closely with global and cross-functional teams, and will report to the Director of India communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at a technology platform or in a highly regulated or high-scrutiny industry
• Experience working across regions and with global, cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience spanning business, policy, and product communications. Experience in navigating complex regulatory or public‑affairs environments
