Role Overview

The India Communications Lead will be responsible for establishing and executing Anthropic’s communications strategy in India. As the company’s first communications hire in the country, the role will focus on media engagement, strategic messaging, executive communications, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Strategy & Brand Positioning

• Develop and execute communications campaigns to strengthen Anthropic’s presence in India
• Build messaging frameworks for company announcements and milestones
• Elevate the company’s narrative across the AI ecosystem

Media Relations & Public Engagement

• Build relationships with journalists, industry influencers, and technology media
• Manage press interactions, interviews, and public statements
• Ensure positive and accurate media representation

Executive & Leadership Communications

• Prepare talking points and communication briefs for senior leadership
• Support executive speaking engagements and public appearances

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product, sales, marketing, legal, and policy teams
