Job summary

Schindler Group in India is hiring a technician/engineer to complete installation and commissioning of elevators and escalators within agreed cost and time frames, upholding Schindler’s quality standards and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics engineering; experience from 0.4 to 15 years in the elevator industry; preference for those with industry experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree/Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics).
• Professional experience: 0.4 to 15 years in the Elevator industry.
• Preferences: Experience in the same industry.

Responsibilities

• Completes the installation and commissioning of elevators and escalators as per the agreed timelines and as per the Schindler quality standards.
• Responsible for completions as per the agreed target.
• Provides supervision to the sub – contractors’ workers for timely completion of the project.
• Ensures high customer satisfaction (> norm). - Co-ordinates with the Account Executive / Manager, Logistics team for material, engineering team for troubleshooting and Service team for smooth handover to ensure total customer satisfaction.
