Job summary

Koerber Supply Chain IN Ltd. is seeking an Automation Commissioning Engineer to drive onsite commissioning and handover to customers, with potential post-commissioning support for troubleshooting and modifications.

You will customize PLC programs, configure drives and field components, and establish interfaces between PLC, WCS and third-party systems. Relevant candidates will have hands-on experience in material handling devices, PLC programming (Siemens TIA V14 and Simatic Manager), and fault

Qualifications

• Proficient in PLC programming and industrial automation hardware.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Simatic Manager.
• Knowledge of configuring AC/DC VFDs/Inverters and motor drives.
• Familiarity with industrial communication networks (Profibus/Profinet/AS-I).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in现场 commissioning.

Job description

Automation Commissioning engineer will participate in projects commissioning activities. His role will be to carry out onsite commissioning & handover to customer. Additionally, he may have to provide post commissioning support for troubleshooting/ modification as & when required.

Responsibilities:

• Independent onsite commissioning & trials.
• PLC program customization as per customer/ process requirement, onsite/ inhouse.
• Project Documentation
• PLC, Drive, Field components configuration.
• Establish Interface communication between PLC, WCS, 3rd Party system.
• Errors trouble shooting & its documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of material handling field devices, sensors & electrical component.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, Siemens TIA v14 & Simatic Manager v5.4 & above.
• Knowledge of configuring, commissioning & troubleshooting of AC/DC VFDs/ Inverter.
• Experience of commissioning & troubleshooting of industrial communication system viz. Profibus, Profinet, AS-I, etc.
• Troubleshoot PLC-PLC communication.
• Troubleshoot electrical & control wiring failures.
