Job summary

IIFL Finance in Kolkata seeks a Field Collection Executive to visit customers with overdue home loan accounts, assess risk, and recover payments. You will manage assigned cases, trace borrowers, and prepare records for review by your reporting manager.

You will negotiate repayment plans within policy guidelines, educate customers on loan terms, and address grievances professionally while ensuring adherence to RBI Fair Practices Code and ethical collection standards.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers with overdue home loan accounts to recover payments and manage assigned cases based on risk severity.
• Negotiate repayment plans or settlements within policy guidelines and ensure adherence to collection targets and timelines.
• Educate customers on loan terms, payment obligations, and consequences of default while addressing grievances professionally.
• Conduct field visits to borrower premises, guarantors, or property sites; trace skip cases and update records.
• Maintain accurate reports of visits, commitments, and collections, and submit timely updates to the reporting manager.
• Coordinate with legal teams for notices, SARFAESI actions, possession, or reposesion activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI Fair Practices Code, and ethical collection practices.
