Responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial situations and recommend recovery strategies.
• Monitor progress and escalate unresolved accounts to senior management as needed.
• Prepare and maintain reports on collections status and progress; document actions taken.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Collection and Recovery Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal loan collections within the NBFC or banking sector and will play a key role in managing overdue accounts, negotiating with clients, and ensuring timely recovery of dues. The role will require excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to travel across India for recovery activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Collection and Recovery:

• Handle collection activities for overdue personal loan accounts, ensuring timely recovery of dues.
• Negotiate payment terms and repayment schedules with clients.
• Maintain detailed records of communication, payment arrangements, and collection activities.
  

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns and offer solutions for overdue payments.
• Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach while negotiating payment plans.

Debt Management:

• Assess and evaluate clients' financial situations and recommend appropriate recovery strategies.
• Monitor recovery progress and escalated unresolved accounts to senior management as needed.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain reports on the status of collections and recovery progress.
• Keep detailed documentation on each case, including communication logs and actions taken.

Leadership & Coordination:

• Lead or coordinate with internal teams, if necessary, to ensure smooth recovery operations.
• Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines.
