Job summary

Saarvam Industries Llp in Jaipur is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to operate and program CNC, VMC, CNC Lathe, and conventional milling machines. You will read engineering drawings, set up tools, and ensure components meet dimensional tolerances with regular inspection.

Ideal candidates hold ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, have hands-on CNC/VMC programming experience, and can work with precision grinding. Freshers or experienced applicants welcome, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC, VMC, CNC Lathe, and conventional milling.
• Familiar with CNC/VMC programming and machine operations.
• Experience in cylindrical grinding and precision machining is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of Vernier caliper, micrometer, and bore gauge.
• Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and quality focus.
• Freshers with relevant knowledge or experienced candidates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines, VMC machines, CNC Lathe machines, and conventional milling machines.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, job setting, and production operations as per engineering drawings.
• Develop, edit, and execute CNC and VMC programs as per component requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
• Perform turning, milling, cylindrical grinding, and other machining operations.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Ensure component accuracy and quality through regular dimensional inspection using measuring instruments.
• Maintain production targets while ensuring quality and minimum rejection.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Bore Gauge.


• Good understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and material specifications.
