Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking an Associate - Manufacturing (CNC Turning & Inspection) in Ahmedabad. You will independently perform turning and inspection tasks on 3-5 axis machines, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet stringent aerospace tolerances.

Role requires 2+ years of experience, strong knowledge of GD&T, and familiarity with Siemens/Fanuc controls. You will collaborate with Design, APQP, and Assembly teams to deliver quality products on time.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3-5 axis turning and turning strategies for complex metallic components.
• DSD in GD&T, fits and tolerances applicable to aerospace parts.
• Familiarity with Siemens or Fanuc CNC machine controls and programming basics.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform turning operations and inspection tasks.
• Set up work-holding and tools per process documentation.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish per blueprints and SOPs.
• Maintain quality records and non-conformances, and resolve issues quickly.

About the Role:

We are looking foran Associate - Manufacturing (CNC Turning & Inspection), whothrives in a high performance and fast paced technicalenvironment. As an Associate within the Manufacturing (CNCTurning & Inspection) team, you will be responsible forindependently performing most function tasks, ensuring that ourcustomer receives a great product.

What you'll deliver:

• Work to teamplan & deliver your tasks on-time & within budget
• Evaluate yourwork progress to the plan and make required course corrections
• Inwardinspection of incoming material for cnc turning
• Pre-turning& setting of work-holding as per turning strategydefined in process documentation
• Accuratelybuild cutting tools as per tool list and set the job onmachine as per process documentation
• Understandturning strategy and ensure safe and efficient operation of3-5 Axis CNC machines
• Understandpart's form, fit and function in assembly and it's function
• Ensure thatrequired aesthetic and dimensional accuracy is achievedduring turning process
• Deburr, cleanand inspect machined part to validate that all requiredcharacteristics are fully achieved
• Optimiseturning efficiency with regular machine maintenance &Cutting Tool Krib organisation
• Duly completeoperation, inspection and quality systems documentation
• Work withDesign, APQP and Assembly team to ensure that customerrequirements are met
