Job summary

ITP Externals India in Hyderabad seeks a skilled CNC turning operator to run turning machines independently and ensure compliance with engineering drawings.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience, ITI fitter/ITI machinist or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and knowledge of Fanuc control, cutting tool selection, mounting workpieces, and performing roughing/finishing while inspecting parts. Local Hyderabad preference.

Qualifications

• ITI Fitter / ITI Machinist course or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as minimum
• 3–5 years of experience in CNC turning/machining
• Local Hyderabad candidate will be given high priority

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines independently
• Interpret engineering drawings and 2D layouts
• Set up, mount and dismount workpieces on lathe
• Select and mount cutting tools for turning operations
• Perform roughing and finishing passes
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to drawings
• Maintain turning lathe and tools, and keep work area clean

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Able to run CNC Turning Machine Independently
• Must know 2d programming
• Must know the interpretation of engineering drawings
• Fanuc Control
• Must know G-Codes & M- Codes
• Must have knowledge in job works & aerospace components manufacturing
• Selecting the cutting tools for machining operations using CNC lathes
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathe
• Performing roughing and finishing operations
• Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
• Carrying out maintenance of turning lathe and tools
• Cleaning turning lathe and work area, e.g. removing swarf / chips

QUALIFICATION :

ITI FITTER / ITI MACHINIST COURSE

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience

Local Hyderabad Candidate will be given high priority.
