Job summary

Allusign in Bengaluru seeks a CNC Operator with 1-3 years of experience to operate CNC machines, follow approved drawings and programs, and ensure quality and productivity on the shop floor.

You will verify dimensions, set tools, monitor performance, and maintain safety. ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or related field is preferred; familiarity with measuring instruments is required.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in CNC machine operation.
• Knowledge of CNC machine operation and basic programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Measuring Tape, Micrometer, etc.
• Basic knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings.
• Knowledge of machine safety procedures.
• Ability to work according to production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
• Load and unload workpieces safely.
• Set tools, fixtures, and machine parameters as required.
• Run approved CNC programs.
• Monitor machine operation and cutting performance.
• Verify component dimensions against approved drawings.
• Check CNC programs before starting production.
• Report drawing, program, or dimensional discrepancies.
• Ensure correct material and component specifications are used.
• Inspect components during and after machining.
• Check dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Identify defects, dimensional variations, and surface issues.
• Ensure production output meets required specifications.
• Achieve assigned production targets.
• Minimize machine idle time and material wastage.
• Maintain proper production sequence.
• Coordinate with the Production Supervisor for priority jobs.
• Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic checks.
• Report machine breakdowns immediately.
• Maintain tools and fixtures properly.
• Follow machine safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
