Job summary

Altraize is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to operate and set up CNC turning machines in its Coimbatore manufacturing facility. You will read engineering drawings, set tool offsets, and ensure components meet dimensional tolerances while maintaining production flow.

You will inspect finished parts for quality, troubleshoot machine issues, and strictly follow safety procedures and company guidelines to sustain high productivity and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• CNC Operation & Setup: Operate and set up CNC machines as per technical drawings and production requirements.

• Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

• Process & Production Support: Support production activities, troubleshoot machine issues, and ensure smooth workflow to meet production targets.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow workplace safety procedures, machine operating guidelines, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

• Ability to operate CNC turning machines, understand machine functions, and follow standard operating procedures.

• Competency in setting up tools, selecting suitable inserts, setting tool offsets, and ensuring correct component positioning.

• Understanding insert grades, tool selection, cutting parameters, tool wear, and tool life management.

• Ability to read engineering drawings, understand dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and machining requirements.
