Job summary

Altraize in Bengaluru seeks a skilled CNC Operator to operate and set up CNC machines per drawings and production needs. You will interpret engineering drawings, select tools, set offsets, and ensure precise component positioning.

You will inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, troubleshoot machine issues, support production to hit targets, and strictly follow safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Operate and set up CNC machines per drawings and production requirements.
• Read engineering drawings: dimensions, tolerances, symbols, machining requirements.
• Set up tools, inserts, offsets, and ensure correct component positioning.
• Understand insert grades, tool selection, cutting parameters, wear and tool life management.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; maintain safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and support production to meet targets.
• Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.

• CNC Operation & Setup: Operate and set up CNC machines as per technical drawings and production requirements.

• Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

• Process & Production Support: Support production activities, troubleshoot machine issues, and ensure smooth workflow to meet production targets.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow workplace safety procedures, machine operating guidelines, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

• Ability to operate CNC turning machines, understand machine functions, and follow standard operating procedures.

• Competency in setting up tools, selecting suitable inserts, setting tool offsets, and ensuring correct component positioning.

• Understanding insert grades, tool selection, cutting parameters, tool wear, and tool life management.

• Ability to read engineering drawings, understand dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and machining requirements.
