Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd in Tamil Nadu is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to operate Lathe, Milling, Tsugami, VMC and other CNC machines to ensure accurate production and clean work areas. You will set up new jobs, adjust programs and tooling offsets, and manage inserts and cutting tools with routine maintenance.

The role requires 2 years of hands-on CNC experience, a Diploma in Mechanical or Production, and proficiency with micrometres, vernier calipers, and precision gauges to verify

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Production required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on CNC operator experience.
• Proficient with micrometres and vernier calipers for measurements.
• Familiarity with precision gauges and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of setting up new jobs and tooling offsets.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (Lathe/Milling/Turning, Tsugami, VMC, CNC, etc).
• Set up new jobs on CNC machines.
• Change programs and set tool work offsets.
• Handle inserts, drills and other cutting tools.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines.
• Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy using precision instruments.
• Maintain production logs and documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
