Job summary

National Oilwell Varco in India seeks an experienced CNC operator for multi-tasking machines, including Mazak Integrex and DMG 5-axis, to program, set up, and run production while maintaining quality and safety.

You will verify parts per drawings, record inspection results, update ERP/WO, and work with tools and fixtures. English communication and GD&T knowledge are required; experience with Fanuc/MAZATROL programming is a plus.

Qualifications

• DME with 3-4 years experience.
• Hands on experience in CNC turn-mill and multitasking machines (Mazak Integrex, DMG 5-axis).
• Proficient in part/machine setup for complex batch orders.
• Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and GD&T.
• English communication proficiency; Fanuc/MAZATROL programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production activity plan defined by supervisor.
• Verify 100% component inspection per drawings.
• Select and program multi-tasking machine tools as per component requirements.
• Record inspection results in respective formats and update ERP/Work Order.
• Maintain calibration and tooling records; ensure quality parts meet requirements.

Job Summary

Produces manufacturing parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC Mazak Integrex; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and programming.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production activity Plan defined by supervisor.
• Verify the component by 100% inspection as per drawing.
• Select the required multi-tasking machine tools as per component and programing.
• Record the inspection results in respective format.
• Update the status of production on ERP / Work order.
• Move the material along with all reports to next stage.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Responsible for loading parts, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, advanced edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines.
• Experience operating multitasking Machines such in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Follow the duties assigned by supervisor and report if anything is going wrong.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities

• Production of items as per drawings, work orders and as per production plan.
• Verify the calibration date of inspection tools, prior to inspection.
• Work as per procedure / WI
• First article and in-process inspection as required as per procedure.
• Record all inspection results in respective formats.
• Update WO status in ERP / on WO
• Update NC programming in storage location
• All NCR / Scrap items need to be moved to designated area.
• Contribute to cost reduction efforts by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules

Education & Experience Qualifications

• DME with 3-4 years experience.
• Hands on experience in CNC turn-mill, multitasking machines e.g., Mazak Integrex, DMG 5 axis machines, mill turn machines.
• Must be proficient in part / machine set up of complex / precise batch order qty.
• Strong knowledge of all measuring instruments and GD&T
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of Fanuc and MAZATROL controller with programming knowledge.
• Should have adequate knowledge of tools used on multitasking machines.
• Should be able to handle measuring probes for quick set up.
