Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for Turn mill operations in Hyderabad, India. You will develop production processes, create NC programs, and ensure quality and efficiency across manufacturing activities.

The role requires 10+ years of CNC programming experience, strong Mazatrol and NX CAM expertise, and familiarity with Vericut simulations and post processors. Collaboration with global teams and vendor coordination are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent.
• More than 10+ years of relevant CNC programming & operating CNC machines.
• Mandatory: proficient in Turn mill machines.
• Proficient in Mazatrol controllers or Mazatrol CAM.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, cutting tools and their parameters.
• Good knowledge of attachment tooling.
• Proficient on turn mill machines.
• Proficient in CAM (Siemens NX) or other CAM tools and PLM (TCE).
• Good knowledge of Vericut simulation.
• Oil and Gas industry exposure.
• Knowledge of Renishaw probe cycles and their uses in CNC programs.
• Understanding of postprocessors.
• SAP knowledge will be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create production documentation for Turn Mill machines (Setup sheet, CNC programs, routings).
• Verify programs in Vericut and Mazatrol.]
• Develop the production process to improve performance standards.
• Establish new production processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to create tool libraries and post processors.
• Supervise less experienced engineering personnel and ensure deliverable quality.
• Review drawings and procedures for safe, efficient manufacture.
• Provide Quality Notification dispositions when required.

Job Purpose

Participates in engineering solutions as part of the Manufacturing Engineering function, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

General description of scope

Performs with autonomy, in accordance with department and/or project instructions, schedules and processes requirements to Develop the production process to improve the performance standard, Establish new production processes ,Create production documentation, work instructions/Setup sheet , CNC program and/or routings .

Main Accountabilities

• Performs with autonomy, in accordance with department and/or project instructions, schedules and processes requirements to:
  • Create production documentation for Turn Mill machines, such as, Setup sheet, CNC programs on Mazatrol CAM/Controller , NX CAM Software and routings.
  • Verify programs in vericut/Mazatrol.
  • Create cutting tools in TDM.
  • Develop the production process to improve the performance standard.
  • Establish new production processes.
• Co-ordinate with vendors to create tool library in TDM, develop Post processors of various machines & vericut template.
• Supervises less experienced engineering personnel by checking their calculations and engineering solutions and ensures quality and efficiency of deliverables.
• Review of drawings, part reports and procedures to ensure parts can be safely produced in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
• Provides Quality Notification disposition where required

Required Knowledge/Formal Education

• Bachelor''s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent.

Required Experience

More than 10+ years of relevant experience in CNC programming & Operating CNC machine.

Required Technical Skills

• Mandatory - Should be proficient in Turn mill machines.

• Good knowledge of different kinds of attachment tooling.
• Should be Proficient on Turn mill machines.

• Good knowledge of Vericut simulation .
• Oil and Gas industry exposure.

Travel and Other Requirements:
