Job summary

Ideal candidates hold ITI or Diploma, 3–5 years in CNC machining, and can read blueprints and interpret G-code/M-code. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to maintain efficient outputs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turning machines per production schedule and quality requirements.
• Load raw materials, align tooling, and perform machine setups.
• Monitor operations, maintain quality, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Make minor program/setting adjustments to improve output.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document production logs and report variances to supervisors.
• Setup machines per job cards and load/ adjust programs (G-code/M-code).
• Conduct initial test runs and ensure setups meet specs before release.
• Collaborate with CNC operators to minimize downtime and ensure handover.

Job Summary

Operate CNC Turning machines as per production schedule and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and tooling before machining begins.
• Monitor machine operations during production runs to ensure quality and consistency.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Make minor adjustments to machine programs and settings to improve quality and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production logs and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
• Set up CNC machines according to production schedules and job cards
• Insert align and secure fixtures, tooling based on job specifications
• Load and adjust programs (G-code/M-code) as required for each specific job.
• Conduct initial test runs and make adjustments to machine settings for optimal output.
• Ensure all setups meet quality and dimensional standards before releasing to operators.
• Work closely With CNC operators to ensure smooth handover Of machines and minimize downtime.
• Maintain setup sheets, logs, and documentation for repeatability and traceability.

Qualifications & Skills

• I.T.I or equivalent or Diploma; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years Of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of machine tooling and setup procedures.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming (preferred but not mandatory).
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
