Job summary

Iexea Fitness Machines in Jaipur, Rajasthan is seeking a skilled Laser Machine Operator to manage CNC Fiber Laser Sheet Cutting and Tube/Pipe Cutting machines. You will set up, load materials, execute programs, monitor quality, and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.

The role requires 1–3+ years of experience with sheet and tube laser cutting, reading engineering drawings, and understanding cutting parameters. Regular hours 9:30 AM–6:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience operating CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines preferred.
• Experience operating both sheet and tube/pipe laser cutting machines is required.
• Experience with MS, SS and aluminium cutting is preferred.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and understand dimensions.
• Basic understanding of laser cutting parameters such as power, speed, gas pressure, frequency, focus, nozzle size.
• Ability to identify and correct basic cutting-quality problems.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate machine-control software.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Fiber Laser Sheet Cutting Machine for cutting MS, SS, aluminium and other approved materials.
• Operate CNC Laser Tube/Pipe Cutting Machine for cutting various profiles.
• Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions and cutting layouts.
• Load and unload sheets, pipes and tubes safely and correctly.
• Set up the machine, including material positioning, nozzle selection, focus and other required parameters.
• Load and execute cutting programs/files provided by the design or production team.
• Monitor the cutting process and identify issues such as poor cut quality, burr, dross, incomplete cuts, nozzle damage, incorrect dimensions, material movement or misalignment.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance/production teams when required.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and verify dimensions before proceeding with batch production.
• Ensure finished components meet the required dimensional and quality specifications.
• Minimize material wastage through proper nesting, sequencing and machine operation.
• Maintain accurate production records, including material used, quantity produced and machine downtime.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the laser machine.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Reporting To: Production / Factory Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Laser Machine Operator to operate and manage both CNC Fiber Laser Sheet Cutting and Tube/Pipe Cutting Machines at our manufacturing facility.

The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, loading materials, executing cutting programs, monitoring the cutting process, maintaining quality, and ensuring that production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Fiber Laser Sheet Cutting Machine for cutting MS, SS, aluminium and other approved materials.
• Operate CNC Laser Tube/Pipe Cutting Machine for cutting round, square, rectangular and other profiles.
• Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions and cutting layouts.
• Load and unload sheets, pipes and tubes safely and correctly.
• Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type, thickness and profile.
• Set up the machine, including material positioning, nozzle selection, focus and other required parameters.
• Load and execute cutting programs/files provided by the design or production team.
• Monitor the cutting process and identify issues such as:
  
• Poor cut quality
• Excessive burr
• Dross formation
• Incomplete cuts
• Nozzle damage
• Incorrect dimensions
• Material movement or misalignment
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance/production teams when required.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and verify dimensions before proceeding with batch production.
• Ensure finished components meet the required dimensional and quality specifications.

• Keep the machine, work area and material storage area clean and organized.
• Follow all factory safety procedures, including PPE requirements and safe material handling.
• Coordinate with the design, fabrication, grinding and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Complete assigned production targets within the required timelines.
• Work overtime when required to meet urgent production schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience operating CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines preferred.
• Experience operating both sheet and tube/pipe laser cutting machines is required.
• Experience with MS, SS and aluminium cutting is preferred.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and understand dimensions.
• Basic understanding of laser cutting parameters such as:

Working Conditions

• Regular Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Overtime: Approximately 3–4 hours when required
• Working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Candidate must be comfortable working extended hours during high-production periods.
• Proper PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
