Job summary

Bm2p Infra India in Chennai is seeking a Fresher Mechanical Engineering candidate to join our production team as a Laser Machine Operator.

You will receive practical training in CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operation, Engineering Drawing Reading, AutoCAD, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and Production Activities. Location: Poonamalle, Chennai.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Freshers welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings preferred.
• Willingness to learn CNC Laser Machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
• Read and understand mechanical and engineering drawings.
• Learn CNC laser cutting programs and machine settings.
• Assist in setting machine parameters according to material and thickness.
• Handle MS, SS, aluminium, and other sheet-metal materials.
• Check cut components for dimensions and quality.
• Use basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and measuring tapes.
• Assist production team in achieving daily targets.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow maintenance procedures.
• Maintain production and job records.
• Follow quality and safety procedures.
• Learn basic troubleshooting of laser cutting machines.
