Job summary

Anu Overseas in Aligarh is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to oversee electrical and machinery maintenance at our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and minimizing downtime for CNC turning, Plastic Injection moulding and PDC equipment.

We require a Diploma or BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, strong hands‑on factory electrical experience, ability to read electrical drawings, and familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays and sensors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing factory.
• Experience with CNC turning, plastic injection molding, and PDC machines preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, regular and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machines, panels, motors and drives.
• Maintain wiring, distribution panels, lighting and power supply systems.
• Coordinate repairs with the maintenance team and external service providers.
• Maintain maintenance records, service histories and checklists.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor critical spare parts and ensure timely availability.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to manage machine maintenance and general electrical maintenance at our manufacturing facility. The candidate must have strong practical experience in factory electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out regular, preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery, including CNC turning machines, plastic injection moulding machines, pressure die casting (PDC) machines and other production equipment.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and production downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machines, control panels, motors, drives, sensors and associated systems.
• Handle general factory electrical maintenance, including wiring, distribution panels, lighting and power supply systems.
• Coordinate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs with the maintenance team and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment service histories, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance checklists.
• Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
• Monitor critical spare parts and ensure their timely availability.
• Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance work with minimum disruption.
• Ensure safe working practices during all electrical and machine maintenance activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing factory.
• Experience maintaining CNC turning, plastic injection moulding and pressure die casting machines will be preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot machine control circuits.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motors, contactors, relays and sensors.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Good maintenance documentation, planning and coordination skills.
• Ability to take ownership of breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
