Role Description

The CNC 5 axis operator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring 5 axis CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and process sheets. Daily tasks include selecting and installing tools, loading programs, adjusting offsets, and performing test runs to ensure accurate machining. The operator will measure and inspect finished parts, maintain quality standards, and document production data. Additional responsibilities include routine machine maintenance, maintaining a clean and safe work area, coordinating with supervisors and quality teams, and following all safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC 5 axis equipment.
• Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills for precision component manufacturing.
• Candidates should possess thorough Quality Control skills, including measurement, inspection, and documentation.
• Relevant technical education (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Production, or related field is preferred.
• Experience operating CNC 5 axis machines in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and follow work instructions.
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Willingness to work in shifts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to production priorities.
