Job summary

Exiger Technologies seeks an experienced CMDB Business Analyst to drive data quality and governance within ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM processes. You will lead remediation efforts, coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams, and help re-baseline services and applications.

The role requires hands‑on CMDB data work, stakeholder management, and strong documentation skills for user stories and training materials. Experience with enterprise CMDB remediation is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, CMDB, ITSM, or Configuration Management.
• Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB environments.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience handling enterprise-scale CMDB remediation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CMDB data to identify ownership gaps, duplicate CIs, orphan records, stale records, lifecycle issues, and missing relationships.
• Perform CMDB data quality assessments and recommend remediation actions.
• Support ServiceNow CMDB governance and Configuration Management processes.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Application, Security, Cloud, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Drive service and application re-baselining activities.
• Track remediation actions, blockers, ownership, and project progress.
• Support CMDB certification and attestation campaigns.
• Prepare user stories, business requirements, documentation, process guides, and training materials.
• Reconcile shadow inventories with CMDB data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve CMDB adoption and governance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced CMDB Business Analyst with strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM processes, Configuration Management, and CMDB Data Quality. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, CMDB Architects, Enterprise Architecture teams, Infrastructure teams, and Service Owners to improve CMDB data quality, support service and application re-baselining, coordinate remediation activities, and strengthen CMDB governance.

This is not a generic Business Analyst role. Candidates must possess hands‑on experience working with CMDB data, Configuration Items (CIs), ServiceNow, ITSM processes, stakeholder management, data remediation, and governance activities.
