Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from vendor selection to performance evaluation.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Establish and maintain robust supplier relationships to secure the best pricing and service levels
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support in complex negotiations and contract management
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all procurement activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver timely procurement solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier KPIs to senior management

End to end responsible for all matters related to procurement of materials, award of contracts, vendor development & relationships for cost effective, on time delivery of quality materials. Growing institutional capabilities ahead of requirement w.r.t. people & processes to provide competitive advantage vis–a-vis industry peer set. Responsible for assurance & governance aspects in Techno Commercial Function across organization. Continuously search & establish best in class sources & origin of alternative materials for competitive edge.
