The role requires 6–10 years in procurement, with strong supplier management, market awareness, and reporting capabilities to senior management. This is a full-time onsite position in India.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree.
• Work experience: 6–10 years in procurement for infrastructure projects (electrical/mechanical/civil).
• Certification: Procurement or Supply Chain certification preferred.

Job Purpose

Associate Lead - Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. This role involves sourcing and negotiating contracts, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Implement procurement strategies that support company goals. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Cost Management: Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce procurement expenses. Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes and integration with other business functions.
• Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. Address and resolve any supplier issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor adherence to standards and regulations.
• Management Insights: Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement best practices and strategic decisions.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions. Use this knowledge to inform procurement strategies and decisions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.
• Digital Mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
