Job summary

ZEISS India is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to provide in-OR support and lead product demonstrations. You will deliver clinical training, present pre-sales and post-sales sessions, and assist the sales team with evaluations and installations across North India.

The role requires direct interaction with surgeons and hospital staff, strong communication, and the ability to travel extensively. Collaboration with sales and service teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical field.
• Experience in clinical applications or operating room support.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% across North India.

Responsibilities

• Attend operating room procedures and assist surgeons during product demonstrations and clinical cases.
• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales product presentations, clinical training, and user education to healthcare professionals.
• Support the sales team in product evaluations, installations, and customer onboarding.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and key stakeholders by providing excellent clinical support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Sciences, Biomedical. Relevant experience in clinical applications or OT support within Neurosurgery, ENT, or Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Hands-on experience attending surgeries and interacting with surgeons in the operating room. Strong presentation and communication skills with experience in delivering product demonstrations and clinical presentations. Willingness to travel extensively across North India (approximately 50–60% travel). Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales and service teams.
