Job summary

ZEISS India is seeking a software professional to join the Monetization Platforms team and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of ZEISS subscription platforms. You will work with a product owner, developers and testers to continually improve billing, licensing and subscription solutions in an agile DevOps setup.

Applicants should have 2–6 years of experience in agile software development, strong Java, REST and SQL skills, and knowledge of Zuora or Quarkus is a plus.

About the Team

The Monetization Platforms department is one of the strategic units within Corporate IT and is responsible for Design, development & management of Billing, Licensing and Subscription Solutions as three central services across the ZEISS Group worldwide.

Role Description

Play a key role in the development and maintenance of the ZEISS subscription platforms. As part of an interdisciplinary team comprising a Product Owner, developers, and testers, you will help shape and continuously improve ZEISS subscription processes.

Must have Skills

• Write high-quality code and validate its quality through unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Design and implement functional and technical architectures that transform business processes into digital solutions.
• Develop and operate subscription solutions, continuously improving them based on customer and user feedback in an agile DevOps environment.
• Advance the state-of-the-art development of the subscription platforms by applying continuous integration and continuous delivery, test automation, and building orchestration solutions.
• Support the team in resolving user issues.

Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, business information systems, or a comparable field.
• You should have 2-6 years with good knowledge of agile software development across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through release and maintenance.
• Experience with REST, API management, SQL, and Java; knowledge of Zuora is an advantage.
• Experience in the design, architecture, and scaling of software applications; knowledge of Quarkus is an advantage.
• A high level of initiative, strong teamwork skills, and clear customer and result orientation.
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
