Job summary

Oxford International Education Group in Mumbai is seeking a Student Admissions Coordinator to manage and process applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with admissions requirements and SLAs. You will communicate with students, agents, and regional teams and conduct interviews when required.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting recruitment targets, handling workload efficiently, and maintaining high standards of service while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Min 1 year experience in customer support handling.
  • Excel / Microsoft knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to student applications within defined service level agreements.
  • Assess applications accurately according to the latest admissions requirements.
  • Update agents, students and regional teams on developments.
  • Carry out student interviews and communicate results accurately.
  • Develop productive relationships with regional teams, pathway College, University Partners and agents to meet targets.
  • Self-driven with the ability to organize workload and multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Take ownership, solve problems and make quick, responsible decisions.

  • Student applications are responded to in line with defined service level agreements
  • Applications are assessed accurately and in accordance with the latest admissions requirements
  • Agents, students and regional teams are updated and kept abreast of developments at all times
  • Student interviews are carried out, recorded and communicated accurately
  • Sustainable and productive working relationships are developed with regional teams, the pathway College, University Partners and agents to ensure that targets are achieved
  • Self-driven with an ability to organize one's own workload and multitask
