Job summary

V N Engineering Company is seeking a senior site execution engineer to supervise sewer rehabilitation and lining projects. You will inspect lines, plan daily activities, and manage materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and DPRs.

This role requires extensive field experience, strong coordination with project teams, and the ability to report progress and issues promptly. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with about 25 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 25 years of experience in civil construction, sewer rehabilitation, or sewer lining.
• Knowledge of sewer inspection, manhole work, site execution, and rehabilitation activities.
• Experience in site supervision, manpower management, and daily progress reporting.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and material consumption tracking.
• Ability to maintain site records, DPRs, and quality inspection reports.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and AutoCAD, preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients, contractors, and site teams.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise daily sewer rehabilitation and lining work as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Site Inspection: Inspect sewer lines, manholes, and work locations before and after rehabilitation.
• Work Planning: Coordinate daily activities with the project manager, lining supervisor, and site team.
• Material Management: Monitor material requirements, consumption, and wastage of resin, hardener, liner, and other materials.
• Quality Control: Ensure work quality and compliance with approved procedures and technical specifications.
• Measurement & Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports, site measurements, and completed work records.
• Safety Management: Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and confined-space safety requirements.
• Labour & Equipment: Coordinate manpower, machinery, and equipment for timely project execution.
• Documentation: Maintain inspection reports, work records, material consumption reports, and progress documentation.
• Coordination: Coordinate with MWSL/client representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve site issues.
• Problem Solving: Identify site challenges, technical issues, and delays, and report them to the project manager.
• Progress Monitoring: Ensure work is completed within the planned schedule and report daily progress to management.
