Job Summary:
The Civil Site Engineer provides day-to-day supervision of civil construction works and ensures execution is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Execution
- Supervise excavation, PCC/RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, foundations, masonry, flooring, drainage and finishing works.
- Verify line, level, dimensions, reinforcement and quantities before and during execution.
- Monitor concrete pours and coordinate required inspections and test documentation.
Coordination & Control
- Coordinate with MEP teams for sleeves, trenches, openings and embedded items before civil closure.
- Maintain daily progress, manpower and work-front records and report constraints promptly.
- Track site material requirements to avoid work stoppages and support contractor productivity.
Quality & Handover
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and consultants and ensure observations are closed.
- Raise and close punch points and support area handover to succeeding disciplines.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 3-7 years of relevant industrial construction/site execution experience.
- Experience in factory, process-plant or large building projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- RCC and civil finishing supervision; drawing interpretation; line/level and measurement checks.
- Basic quantity verification, QA/QC inspection coordination and daily progress reporting.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.
Soft Skills
- Strong site coordination and follow-up.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
