Job summary

Sri Mateshwari Construction is seeking a Site Engineer/Supervisor to oversee daily field execution of MS pipe projects in Maharashtra. You will ensure compliance with drawings, manage trenching, bedding, alignment, welding, hydro-testing, and coordinate site labor and equipment.

Required: BE/B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical or Diploma with field experience, 2–5+ years (BE) or 3–8+ years (Diploma) in pipeline work, proficiency with isometric drawings, IS codes, and surveying tools.

Qualifications

• Education as above with field experience preferred.
• Experience specifics: 2–5+ years (BE) or 3–8+ years (Diploma) in pipeline execution.
• Familiarity with IS codes or relevant international pipeline standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise trench excavation, dewatering, pipe bedding, laying, and backfilling as per approved design profiles.
• Oversee MS pipe stringing, alignment, fit-up, and welding activities.
• Manage site resources, including labor teams, heavy machinery, and material inventory.

Job Overview & Objective

• Role Summary: Oversee daily field execution, ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards, manage site labor and contractors, and maintain project documentation.
• Core Material Focus: Mild Steel (MS) pipes, including trenching, bedding, pipe lowering, alignment, welding/jointing, anti-corrosion coating/wrapping, and hydro-testing.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision

• Supervise trench excavation, dewatering, pipe bedding, laying, and backfilling as per approved design profiles.
• Oversee MS pipe stringing, alignment, fit-up, and welding activities
• Manage site resources, including labor teams, heavy machinery (cranes, JCBs, side booms, welding machines), and material inventory.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with extended field experience)
• Experience:
• For B.Tech/B.E.: 2 to 5+ years of hands‑on site experience in MS or water pipeline execution.
• For Diploma: 3 to 8+ years of specific pipeline execution experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading pipeline alignment sheets, isometric drawings, and civil/structural layouts.
• Familiarity with IS codes or relevant international pipeline standards.
• Knowledge of surveying instruments (AutoLevel, Total Station) for grade and line verification.
