Job summary

Asbri Energy seeks a Civil Engineer Site In charge to oversee daily construction activities, ensure adherence to approved plans, and enforce safety and quality controls. The role acts as the bridge between managers, subcontractors, and labourers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The successful candidate will read drawings, supervise inspections, manage materials, and maintain routine progress reporting while coordinating travel to various sites as required.

Qualifications

• Software proficiency: MS Project; good MS Office skills.
• Technical knowledge: structural design, construction methodologies, and project management principles.
• Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, ~10 years total with 2+ years site or planning experience.
• Communication: English is a must, Hindi desirable.
• Travel: role requires travel to different project locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site operations and assign tasks to labourers and subcontractors.
• Ensure adequate workforce levels and maintain project timelines.
• Regularly inspect construction work to ensure concrete pouring and structural steel framing meet specs.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to avoid deviations.
• Enforce health and safety regulations; conduct hazard assessments and ensure PPE use.
• Oversee material delivery, storage, and inventory to prevent shortages.
• Complete site reports documenting daily progress, attendance, and incidents.
• Identify on-site challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.

A civil engineer site supervisor manages daily construction activities, ensures structural work aligns with approved blueprints, and enforces strict safety and quality control standards. They act as the primary bridge between project managers, subcontractors, and laborers to keep the project on schedule and budget.

Daily Site Management: Coordinate day-to-day operations and assign tasks to

labourers and subcontractors. Ensure adequate workforce levels and maintain project timelines.

Quality Control s Inspections: Regularly inspect construction work and verify that all activitiesfrom concrete pouring to structural steel framing—meet engineering

specifications.

Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to ensure work does not deviate from approved plans.

Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations. Conduct hazard assessments, ensure proper use of PPE, and implement safety briefings.

Material s Resource Management: Oversee the delivery, storage, and inventory of construction materials to prevent shortages or equipment downtime.

Progress Reporting: Complete site reports and document daily progress, labor attendance, and any on-site incidents for the project manager.

Problem Resolution: Identify on-site challenges (e.g., design discrepancies, material delays, or logistical issues) and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.

Qualification and Experience:

• Software Proficiency: MS Project knowledge should be excellent, Good in MS office products
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of structural design, construction methodologies, and project management principles.
• Qualifications: Typically requires a B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, often with 10 years overall of which around 2 plus years site or planning experience.
• Communication: English communication is must, Hindi desirable.
• This position requires travel to different locations based on project needs
