Job summary

Riverdale India is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with hands-on expertise in finishing works for residential high-rise tower projects, to manage site execution, quality, contractors, and project timelines at Mohali. The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech/B.E.

in Civil Engineering with 8–10 years of relevant experience, specifically in residential high-rise projects and civil finishing works. Local Mohali candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Mandatory experience in residential high-rise tower projects.
• Hands-on experience in civil finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil works at residential high-rise tower projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects and MEP teams.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Conduct quality inspections and rectify defects and snags.
• Plan material requirements and minimize wastage.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
• Ensure proper snagging, rectification and handover of completed areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with strong experience in residential high-rise tower projects. The candidate should have hands‑on expertise in finishing works and be capable of managing site execution, quality, contractors, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil works at residential high-rise tower projects.
• Handle finishing activities including plastering, putty, painting, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors, and other related works.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and MEP teams.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper rectification of defects and snags.
• Plan material requirements and ensure optimum utilization with minimum wastage.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor contractor performance and workforce deployment.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
• Ensure proper snagging, rectification, and handover of completed areas.
• Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Mandatory experience in residential high‑rise tower projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience in civil finishing works.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
