Job summary

Alphalogic in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise and execute day-to-day industrial civil construction for a grain-based ethanol distillery project. You will coordinate with contractors, review drawings and specifications, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of works.

The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience in industrial construction, strong RCC and foundation skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in industrial construction projects.
• Experience in Ethanol, Distillery, Sugar, Chemical, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Power Plant or similar industrial projects preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in RCC, foundations, equipment foundations, structural works, industrial flooring, roads, drains, trenches and building construction.
• Good knowledge of reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings, BOQ, specifications and construction methodologies.
• Experience in handling and coordinating civil contractors and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; project planning tools knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to work at the project site in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the Grain-Based Ethanol Distillery Project site.
• Execute and monitor RCC, foundations, structural works, equipment foundations, flooring, roads, drainage, trenches, buildings and other industrial civil works.
• Coordinate with civil contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other project teams to ensure timely execution of works.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and site requirements and ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Check and verify contractor measurements, quantities, RA bills and work completion at site.
• Monitor manpower, material availability and construction progress against project schedules.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and other departments to ensure proper interface and timely completion of civil works.
• Ensure proper quality control, workmanship and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Identify site issues, resolve day-to-day construction-related problems and elevate critical issues to the Project/Management team.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, inspection reports and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment foundations and other civil requirements related to plant equipment installation.
• Monitor construction safety practices and ensure contractors follow applicable safety requirements at site.
• Assist in planning, estimation, material requirement and execution of civil works as required.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned civil works as per project schedule, quality and cost requirements."

• Should be willing to work at the project site in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving and site management skills.
• Candidates who can independently handle day-to-day civil execution activities and coordinate with multiple project teams will be preferred.
