Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) invites a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our project teams in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. You will supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, and schedules.

With 8–12 years of experience in industrial projects or large EPC programs, you will review drawings, BOQs, and specifications, manage contractors, monitor progress, and uphold HSE and quality practices across multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in civil construction of industrial, mining, metal, power, infrastructure, or large EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site execution practices.
• Experience in managing contractors and monitoring project progress.
• Familiarity with RCC structures, steel structures, foundations, industrial buildings, and infrastructure works.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and progress monitoring.
• Good understanding of quality assurance and quality control practices in construction projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of civil works as per drawings, specifications, project standards, and construction schedules.
• Review contractor work progress, quantities, and quality of executed works.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, contracts, and site execution teams for smooth project delivery.
• Monitor construction activities related to: Earthwork and grading; Foundations and structural concrete works; Industrial buildings and utility structures; Roads, drains, and associated infrastructure; Steel and RCC structural works.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Review construction methodologies, technical submittals, and work procedures.
• Track project progress and support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Identify construction risks, bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and safe construction practices.
• Coordinate with contractors for timely completion of project milestones.
